How to use the Winsland risk register template
- Use a team to populate the register
- Potential consequence – make it worst realistic case
- Untreated risk – assess assuming there are no controls
- Residual risk – assess risk assuming controls are in place
- Note: in Winsland template, the rating populates automatically when the likelihood and consequence ratings are added.
